The 17th episode of The Exhaust Port podcast is an all-timer! First, Todd sits down with renowned Star Wars author Claudia Gray to discuss her work on Lost Stars and Bloodline, and a tad bit on her upcoming novel, Leia, Princess of Alderaan. She even critiques his Canon Casting of Bloodline and takes him to task on a choice or two, all in good fun of course! It was so awesome to speak with not only an amazing author, but also a HUGE Star Wars fan! Next, both Todd and Sequoyah chat with legendary author Kevin J. Anderson to talk about what it was like working in the Star Wars literary universe in the early 90’s with his Jedi Academy Trilogy of books, released on the heels of Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn trilogy. And of course we hit on his work on the comic side of things – specifically the Tales of the Jedi series! Kevin also speaks about his new epic fantasy, Spine of the Dragon, and the unique way he’s getting fans involved in the writing process. Check out more info on his site!
All in all, we were beyond honored to even meet these legends in the Star Wars universe, much less take up almost an hour of each of their busy days at Raleigh Supercon. Huge thanks to both, and we hope you enjoy listening as much as we did!
